West Bromwich Albion Football Club Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Groups Statement. West Bromwich Albion Football Club is committed to protecting all young people and vulnerable groups that are in our care or attending at our premises. The football club has a full range of safeguarding Policies and best practice guidelines for all staff. Complaint procedures that deal with complaints regarding staff and any safeguarding issues have also been established. Whether it is at the Hawthorns, the Football Academy or the Football Foundation, West Bromwich Albion will strive to keep children and vulnerable groups safe and free from harm. All of the Football Club’s activities and policies comply with national legislation and are in accordance with rules outlined by the Football Association and The FA Premier League. The Policies and practices are regularly reviewed and monitored by those bodies and have been discussed with the local safeguarding boards.
